SCANDAL: Student (23 Y/O) Reads Non-Mandatory Books!
DORTMUND — In a shocking abuse of university privileges, local student Rouven K. (23) was caught Thursday using his student ID to access academic texts completely unrelated to his current module requirements.
"He just sits there... reading," reported a disturbed university administrator who wished to remain anonymous. "Sometimes for hours. And none of it will even show up on his transcript!"
Sources confirm the student has been observed engaging in unauthorised learning across multiple disciplines, showing blatant disregard for degree progression metrics. "He even takes notes on texts that aren't on any syllabus," added a horrified library assistant.
When confronted about his intellectual deviance, the student reportedly shrugged and said "I thought universities were places for learning..."
University officials are considering implementing new measures to ensure students only read materials directly contributing to credit points. "We can't have people just... learning things," stated one dean. "what's next — thinking about them?"
Expert commentary suggests this could be part of a disturbing trend of students using educational institutions for education.
